Undertow sank in the shoreline when it was heading to sell slaves to Blackmouth village for the Blessed Kingdom.
The party remembers being on a ship for a while and wondering where and who they are. No one remembers their names. Some weird fog covers the air, until suddenly they hear the bottom of the ship screeching and after the crash upon some stones, the ship went over the rocky coral reef and rose on top of it. Their ship sank because the captain could no longer remember where the reefs were on the shore. The ship sank next to a river mouth. The ship must have been carrying resources because the flag had a gold coin on hand. The beaches are also quite deep. The party managed to get off the ship, alive. The party swam ashore and watch as the ship continues to sink offshore...

Chapter One
The players have started with different tasks in the ranks of Red Mantis. they knew each other to some extent, Red Mantis has been operating in the city of Sutekh for about a year when Xalara arrived to establish it.
Those from Sutekh know that about 3 years ago Bata took over the city from the previous leader when he executed him and his subjects in the attack. The influential people of the city then just accepted his leadership.
Group of travelers came from the south enterance of Sutekh and they carried a mystery object in a cart. They were received by Bata and after they were observed by players from the Mantis guild to have received a flying ship and flew off to the sea.
Mantis guild gave a mission to get some city council converted to their side. Mirielle d'Arc's husband Mark d'Arc got killed by the party to achieve this, the body is near a boatwreck at sea. After this the players went to Lady Elspeth von Carstein, after the players dealt with competing clothing business owner's shop, the lady agreed to side with Mantis' plan.
Mantis guild hired the players as double agents to find out what was happening on the mountain. The players found out about the tournament and won it against other competing parties at Fort Bata and Bata wanted to reward them with a protection mission on Mt. Hiro. A large portal had been built on the mountain, which the players noticed that it was activated after the players took the orb related to the conspiracy and put it among the other orbs.
The portal blew up at the mountain as the Mantis guild wanted, but problems arose when a wounded dragon appeared through the exploding portal, Bata called this dragon his mother. He spoke to his son and then left to rest, flying north.
The players took a fight on the mountain against Bata and they were so scared of the whole event and Bata's dragon form that they decided to run and jump down from the wall of the mountain temple and into the water. They barely survived the fall, and continued to the beach where they finally found each other.
The energy emanating from the portal triggered a chain reaction, causing the volcano to erupt and hot lava to rush towards the nearby city
The rumble grew and grew, until the mountain exploded, spewing hot lava in all directions. The nearby city of Sutekh had never faced such a disaster. The ground shook as the lava flowed down the mountain slope towards the city. On the outskirts of the city, people ran for their lives, but many were not fast enough. The scorching heat and toxic gases made breathing difficult, or impossible.
The city's emergency services were overloaded, and the residents were left on their own. The elementalists tried their best to limit the flames, but it was a hopeless battle. The lava swallowed everything in its path, destroying homes, buildings and roads on the south side
As the days passed, the lava began to cool, and the city began to assess the damage. The grief was deep and many had lost their homes and loved ones. The city suffered huge losses, but the residents decided to get up and start rebuilding. Although the mountain had caused a great catastrophe, most of the city survived in the end stronger than ever before.
The players conquered Sutekh with the help of the Blessed Kingdom's battalions and navy, Bata was killed and the tyranny
was over in the whole region. Anpu, the leader of the Blessed Kingdom, appointed General Ki Juma as the interim leader
of the Sand Kingdom region as it is being stabilized.
The Party was given orders to stabilize the Mt.Hiro lava area, and they cleared the rifts that opened to another plane. at the foot of the mountain, the players received a book of revelation from a angelic being.

After a dangerous sea voyage with their new ship, the adventurers arrived at Northpass, an old mining town on the west
side of the inner sea.
The party met with a Paladin recruiter named Sir Elgar: "We have a task ahead of us that requires courage and
dedication. But I know that there is strength within you that could help us in this battle.
Players were given symbols of Ealdthryn a reminder that even in the midst of darkness, there is always light.”
The party headed north to the fortress of Renatam where the resistance against this threat is spearheaded from. Paladin
Lord Varathin received players after a bombing run from an unknown ship.
Paladin Lord Varathin of Renatam told the party: “It is crucial that we gather information about what lies beyond our
borders. I believe we also destroyed their flying vessel when it ventured in this direction.
We know they have somehow brainwashed or kidnapped people in the desert. The enemy is smooth-skinned and tall, with
gleaming eyes, not of this world.
The party suffered a casualty in first encounter of this enemy force at the start of the Sandscar Ravines in the Gray
Desert.
After returning to the Renatam Fort, the paladin Lord Varathin helped the party with raising the member and they continued their mission after.
The party finished clearing the route thru the Sandscar Ravines to the temple where they were to meet a second group of scouts.
The party ventured back to Sandscar Ravines and managed to clear the way to a temple of Ealdthryn built inside sandstone.
They met with another party that cleared the way from northside of the ravines. The other paladin party setup a fortification inside the temple while players went and cleared the cave surrounding it.
Some sort of boss was ordering people inside the cave but fled in the battle that started. The enemy had imprisoned some locals inside the cave, players freed them and met Theo.
Theo told the players he could lead them to the boss that fled. The players took him up on it, but Theo had to check if anyone of his village had survived, and they did - sort of.
The players took opportunity to modify their bodies and minds thru a machine an evil scientist had got up and running in the village. The players dealth with the villagers that had been turned to mutated
beings that Theo did not recognize no more.
Returning to the paladins, they were given the mission to track down the escaped leader Theo was tracking with his ability and they also opted to check out lost scientists from a nearby science outpost.
The outpost was outrun by the alien race and the party took back the crystal in a lead box that seemed radioactive. Theo then lead them to a cave in the southwest of the desert in search for the alien leader.
The cave was full of strange monsters, tho at the end they found one of the teleporters and that lead to inside a small pyramid structure inside a mountain.
Inside the structure was a portal and the book of revelation started to glow, so they used it to close it. The leader was still eluding the party but then Theo received instructions where the last pyramid portal was, the paladins had taken care of one in the east. The party cleared the portal and now there was the last pyramid where the party met with paladins that started an assault on it. The party defeated the leader inside the pyramid and the large scale threat was defeated in the gray desert.
Chapter Three - Endgame

They headed to hunt down the lead to find her and her lair. They ran into villages overran by her forces that seemed to follow her orders, for now just her mutated spawn and Kobolds. Sethville was the first of those villages and there was a massacre of its peoples. The party had a sighting at the mountain next to the village where they were soon after attacked by her spawn.
